Hi, I’m Ben.

I help parents who feel overwhelmed, reactive, and stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break understand what’s really driving their behaviour, so they can feel calm, in control, and present again.

I know this because I’ve lived it

I know what it’s like to hold everything together on the outside while things are falling apart underneath.

I’ve lived through addiction, family breakdown, bereavement, and periods of real darkness, including constantly experiencing suicidality while still trying to function day to day.

There was a point where my urges, my triggers, and my behaviours took over, and I lost everything that mattered.

Not all at once.
But piece by piece.

• Relationships broke down
• Trust eroded
• I became someone I didn’t recognise

And at the time, I didn’t fully understand why.

I thought I needed more discipline. More control. To just “sort myself out.”

But that wasn’t the problem.

What changed everything

It wasn’t until I did the work, properly, that I began to understand what was actually driving my behaviour.

The patterns.
The unresolved emotion.
The triggers I had never learned to face.

That awareness changed everything.

Not overnight - but fundamentally.

Because when you understand what’s driving you, you stop fighting yourself… and start changing at the root.

Understanding how your mind works

Alongside this, I’ve also lived with neurodiversity - specifically ADHD.

For most of my life, I didn’t understand it. I just thought I was wired wrong.

Too intense.
Too reactive.
Constantly overthinking.
Struggling to switch off.
Swinging between high drive and burnout.

It wasn’t until a recent diagnosis that I realised how much it had shaped my life, my emotions, behaviours, coping strategies, and relationships.

That awareness didn’t excuse anything.
But it gave me understanding.

And understanding is what creates change.

20+ years working with families and real-life challenges

Alongside my personal experience, I’ve spent over 20 years working with families, young people, and professionals in high-pressure environments.

I’ve supported:

• Parents at breaking point
• Children in distress
• Families dealing with trauma, stress, and neurodiversity
• Households struggling to function day to day

Alongside this, I’ve invested extensively in professional development, holding certifications in Expert Coaching, Positive Parenting, and Alcohol Recovery. This combination of lived experience and formal training allows me to support clients with both depth and structure, not just understanding the problem, but knowing how to change it.

I’ve seen what emotional overwhelm, stress, and unprocessed experiences do to people.

But more importantly, I’ve seen what happens when it changes.

Because when one person changes, the whole family changes.
